How to Apply for the GTP/OTTP

NB: STTP will need to see evidence of NARIC letter confirming equivalence of all qualifications gained overseas at time of application.

Schools have been asked to host a school based recruitment task to aid the selection of candidates they wish to put forward for the GTP. Please note that the result of this recruitment task will contribute 30% to your overall STTP interview score.

If you are eligible to apply for the GTP or OTTP, you will need to complete our Application Form. Applications will not be considered from applicants who do not meet the TDA's eligibility criteria, or from applicants who do not have a school in place.

Please read the Guidance Notes before completing the Application Form.

The Application documents are provided in both Word and .pdf format. If you wish to complete your application electronically, please download the Word document and save to your PC. STTP will only accept hard copies of the Application Form with signatures from both the Applicant and the School. Please ensure you submit the Equal Opportunities Form along with your Application to enable us to monitor our effectiveness in recruitment practices.
